    Helpful Printing Tips

A little preparation goes a long way. Keep these best practices in mind to ensure your project prints perfectly every time.

    Reviewing print artwork

    Preparing Artwork for Print

Always convert your colors to CMYK before saving. RGB colors look great on screen but can print differently.

    Understanding Bleed

If your design goes to the edge of the paper, include a 1/8" bleed beyond the cut line so there are no white borders.

    Choosing the Right Paper

Uncoated paper feels natural and absorbs ink for a softer look. Coated paper (gloss or matte) makes colors pop.

    Image Resolution

Ensure all images are at least 300 DPI. Web images are usually 72 DPI and will look blurry when printed.
